Well instead of clogging up the other thread that inspired me to post these, here are my screens.

Timings are 2.5-3-3-7 NOT the 2-3-3-7 I stated in the other thread.

Stock settings for the HyperX PC2700 is 2.5Vdimm and timings of 2-2-2-5 at 166(333).

The settings I am using are, 2.8Vdimm and timings of 2.5-3-3-7. I've also used timings of 3-4-4-8 but it doesnt seems as snappy.

When you recieve your RAM, post your results in this thread so we can compare.

geez

i cant even get my hyperx pc3500 past 212 with decent timings (2-2-3-11)

you guys who are getting 220+ are lucky

I'll post results... i have a feeling that these 2700 memories are NOT bh-5, but we'll see... i might reomve the heat spreader for kicks after i test it working. The PC 3000 (special edition) is actually BH-6, some are BH5, the BH6 may not clock as high, but it will run the tighter timings... Good for AMD systems that will probably run 220 ish FSB max.

AUGH! Tiem to vdimm mod the 8rda+ i got.. 2.9v settings give about 2.83... gimme a break.

Good stuff there. I'm almost 100% positive, that the HyperX PC3000 uses BH-5 chips.

HyperX PC3000 comes in both BH-5 and BH-6.
Just buy and hope you get BH-5 ...if you get BH-6 it's still better than getting CH-5
