I picked up a 240gb Kingston HyperX 3k drive recently based on a great review from [H] among other places. I got excited when I read in the newegg description that the drive had toggle nand and immediately placed an order.

I went back to read the reviews more thoroughly, and found that each review stated that the drive did NOT have toggle nand after opening up drives casing.

Now I'm at a loss... I really wanted a drive with toggle nand, but the deal on this kingston drive with sync nand was pretty great.

Do I send the drive back claiming false description and wait for another toggle nand drive to go on sale? Or do I just tough it out with a drive that doesn't quite scratch my upgrade itch?

I've got 4 kingston hyperx 3k's in RAID0, and I've installed 2 as independant drives in various computers and I am absolutely satisfied with them. I don't think you'll be disappointed with yours, either.
