i'm going to be building a gaming computer by chrismas
athlon64 3200+ socket 939
msi k8n neo2 motherboard
geforce 6800 gt
and i'd like to know if this memory is any good, for say doom3 half-life2, i'll be getting a gig of it.

its perfectly fine, your not overclocking so you don't need tighter timings, or heatsinks. its a good fit, just make sure you get a gig though.

thx, but i just found out that the ad was a misprint and it's only 200MHZ not 400MHZ

200MHz DDR = 400MHz effective. PC3200 is 400MHz effective. No misprint.

so it will perform the same way the 400mhz will even on doom3 and half-life-2., cuse this what i'm building this system around (doom-3)...
