Now that ATI cards are popping up everywhere....
What's the point of this thread exactly?

ATi are finally delivering the products they promised on launch day?

Wow, I'm really impressed. Take that NVIDIA.

No, ATI didn't land that right either. Took about a week for XL's to show up on E retailers like new egg.... still.. a lot better then some of their other launches....

What? ATI has done this before? I am new to video cards but I thought this was a one time screwup. I have only been here since the 6800's came out but I was amazed by how many ATI fans there were even after they were treated like they were.

I thought this 1000 line was launched back in May and that it was less than a week between reviewers getting cards and them being available?

Its really not a situation of ATI treating people badly, they had issues with production and couldn't get the product out before they did. They were late to the punch, but you need to realize that a corporation is not a person, it is solely motivated by profits. They probably lost a good bit of money with this whole debacle (not enough to sink them, but i'm sure they noticed), so it definately wasn't done on purpose.
