So i have a Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite Keyboard( link ). Today when i turn my computer on the keybaord doesn't work. I havn't hit it or anything recently, so i doubt its broken.

The weird thing is, the software that the keyboard comes with it telling me the batteries in the keyboard are good and the wirelsss signal quality is high. The reciever must be working because my wireless mouse(use same reciever) works perfectly.

Though when i type anything on it it doesn't come up on the screen. I was hoping you guys could suggest things that might fix it? I will try anything.

So far i have restarted, installed the updated software, and changed the wireless signal thing.

Again if you ahve any idea on how to fix it please say.
