Hi, i got a new keyboard. it is an eclipse. i was wondering if there are any programs that i can set like the f buttons to open programs. and if you could tell me them please.
 
You can create hotkeys for program shortcuts.
For windows:
1. create the shortcut.
2. view the properties of the shortcut
3. click or tab to the shortcut key field and then press your desired keypres(es)

Don't know any *nix, sorry.
 
If that keyboard has extra media keys on it you need to install the software that (should) have come with it. My Logitech keyboard has E-mail, mute, volume up - down etc keys that only work if I install the i-touch software.
 
Thanks for the reply, but waht i was most interested was in web links. like to my email and stuff like that. anyone have any ideas for that?
