I've tried to find the answer to my question but I just can't find an answer.

Basically what I am looking for is a keyboard for my desktop that is buildt like a laptop keyboard. Ilove the way the keys are (how smooth they are and there short depress distance that I really want a fullsize keyboard that has the feel of a laptop keyboard.

I havn't found the answer to this solution, as I have tried to find a keyboard suck as decribed for days. I came here for answers on the new monitor that I purchased 6 weeks ago and I'm sure that the people here can help me out with this question.

Can someone show me to a link or give me some insight to the product that I am looking for?

Thanks in advance.

the keyboard i have sounds like what your looking for ... i assume you mean the keys are kinda flat and well so is the keyboard. its an eluminx and the keys glow in the dark also. i hope that helps.

I remember the guy with two T221s (i think thats what they're called) has one of those keyboards...i forgot his name, but you should talk to him..

when i saw it, it looked like the ibm laptops that we use it school..so possibly from ibm? i dunno..ill find the guy's name

edit: i forgot..the guy's im talking about has the finger mouse thing too, so i dunno if thats what ur also looking for. if its just the keyboard, my friend has one from Sony thats pretty flat..it came with his computer, and its light and wireless..just searched sony.com, but they dont have the one im talkin about....

theres a logitech keyboard on newegg that sounds like what you want

i cant remember the exact name

You are looking for the Logitech Di Novo.

Very flat, low profile, wireless, bluetooth enabled. Soft keys like a laptop.

High $$, comes with MX 900 mouse.

If you have a big comp store local your best bet is to go and test how each keyboard they stock feels like.
That the way I coose a new keyboard.
But I know what your after as I use a 88 key keyboard exactly like your discription.
Ps. If your in the UK I got it Here.

Luck.......:D

Logitech UltraX Flat. It's one of the most quality and stylish keyboards I've seen. It's also much cheaper than the di Novo desktop.

Has anyone had any experience with this keyboard?

http://www.cleansweepsupply.com/pages/skugroup33820.html

It say the following under the item description: "118-key keyboard displays 14 immediate-access hot keys with scissor click key technology to provide the same tactile feedback found on high-quality laptops."

I can't get a zoom of the picture but do you think this satisfies my criteria or is this just another quiet keyboard that doesn't 'click'?

I have an Eluminx, and it is very similar to a laptop keyboard. Great quality/feel too. PM me if you need a closeup shot.

I think I found 'it'...

Now I just need to find a wireless one, if such thing exists.

Saturn, if it isn't too much trouble a close up shot would be great. If you could get a close up from above and one from about a 160-170 degree angle (glancing shot) that would be great! Thanks for the offer. You can put those pictures on this thread for everyone to see of you can PM them to me. Thanks!

Pics: (56K=go away!)
I have cd cases under the keyboard to boost it up a bit. There are no props on the bottom of the Eluminx.
