When I press up-arrow + any other key + left-arrow left isn't working, but if
I press up-arrow + any other key + right-arrow it works fine.

That is really annoying when playing racing games.
I have two keyboards and on both problem occours. They are both ps2

are usb keyboards any better??? any solution??

anyone else have that problem??

Keyboards absolutely cannot handle three keys at once. I'm simply amazed you get it to work with the right arrow. Reconfigure that game to use better controls. Whenever I had to use the keyboard, I would use arrows on the right, and buttons around the left side of the home row on the other side. In all the years I've been gaming, never have I set up anything requiring THREE keys at once...

BTW, a good gamepad/joystick will make an absolutely INCREDIBLE difference with racing games. Trust me. There is no competition for an analog control in such things, but even a digital gamepad is still much nicer than a keyboard. Keyboards really suck for racing.

I'd suggest getting a gamepad - really, get a quality gamepad - you won't regret it...

yes i was thinkink of getting gamepad, joystick or wheel, but i don't play games that much.

Keyboards absolutely cannot handle three keys at once.

???
Actually if i reconfigure keys somwhere else it is working fine.
It is just that LEFT arrow

2 keyboards, same problem

In all the years I've been gaming, never have I set up anything requiring THREE keys at once...

emm...when i played nfs i often looked back. That means:1.accelerate "up arrow"
2.look back "b"
3.steer left/right while looking back "left/right arrow"

or

In Driver you had to press space to steer differently etc.

what is bothering me is why just left arrow!!? Why not some other key??

is there really no other keyboard that can handle left arrow as third button ??
both keyboards i have are same. (they are some cheap cherry ps2 keyboards :D )

2 keyboards with same problem....either you need to clean out some drivers or your mashing buttons too hard and now they stick....

The problem lies in the way the system handles it, not in the keyboards themselves. You can try them all and I doubt any will do better. It's just that certain keys are handled differently than others, so some will work and others won't. It's not just left, I remember messing around with something or other where I had to hold certain keys while hitting another in some windows setup or something or other. There's nothing you can do about it but compensate by using something that does work.

As for the gamepad, they really aren't that expensive. Probably what you should do is get some cheap gamepad that has analog controls. However, what I'd strongly recommend you try doing is get a PSX dual shock gamepad (if you don't already have one, heck, I got one from a store once for $5) and one of those PSX->USB converters. You'd be amazed at just how nice it is to have a real console controller on your PC. And I always felt the PSX control was the best console gamepad ever, but then again, I'm not one of those people with gigantic hands or anything like that. Of course, they also have similar connectors for other consoles, such as the N64. I don't know about Gamecube or Xbox (I bet MS would be ticked if someone made an adaptor for their controllers...)

So you say that there is nothing I can do? :(

Nazo you said that it is not the keyboard, but the system. That means that could be driver problem? I have drivers that are automaticaly instaled with windows xp. I don't know if any other drivers exist.

I mean how many people have just keyboards and play games occasionally
and when they play them it is not working right??

I think that this problem should be solved or just "transfered" to some other key.

Why the LEFT key, why?? :(

my fiend lend me key tronic keyboard and it is working fine. so that means that next time i should buy better keyboard (not the cheapest one :)

Usually Newegg has some good keyboards rebranded as compaq, or lite-on for a low price. Alternately, just get a brown box version of a MS or logitech.
