lol, sorry to ressurect an old thread, but i completely forgot about it until now. i would really like to have this as a keyboard for my shuttle xpc, and google has turned up nothing at all. is there any possible way?

You want to look at 88 key "laptop" syle keyboards.
Something close to what you've got is This one.
That very similar to what I'm useing now.

Luck.......:D

thanks, but im not really looking to shell out money on a new keyboard, i was just hoping i could turn this one into a useable one so i could use it with my shuttle.

Thats an ADB port if I remember correctly....or something like that. Its apple's own serial bus.

You could get a ADB -> Serial converter...but then you get a serial keyboard...which is kinda useless

Some searching revieled that it IS an ADB connector...good and just search on google for "apple adb usb converter" and I got hits. Ths fist link actually takes you to a stoire where they sell those.

Cheers - Google is your friend :p

Edit:
A little more research shows that Griffen Technogly has one called the iMate....its designed to allow you to use older ABD stuff on newer USB only macs. I don't know if it will work on a PC, but at that price of $39, you might as well go out and get a micro keyboard.

Cheers again

well, if i could get it to serial, i have a serial to ps/2 adapter, and that should work. thanks for the info, ill look into it. could i simply just re-wire it into a serial port, without buying the adapter?

edit: well, you were right, buying a new keyboard would be better than buying these adapters at the prices they're at. So right now, im either going to have to find one on ebay, or figure some way to make my own somehow.
