Keyboard Idea

Would it be possible to make a key light up when it is pressed? Like, if I were to buy a clear keyboard, would one be able to put a led in every key, that lit up when pressed? I have some ideas in my head about how to do this, but some input would be nice

You would have to hardwire one end of the LED to power, and then attach the other leg of the LED to the key, so when you pressed the key, it would complete the circuit for that particular key. That means you would have to precisely lay out the 5V (or whatever) and a grounded wire with bare spots.

I can't think of anything else you could do.
