Looking for recommendations for a keyboard that has some sort of backlight illumination. This will have predominately office and photo editing use, but I also play various pc games, mostly shooters. I don't need tons of programmable macro keys and prefer well spaced, quiet keys. Thanks.

I 2nd the Logitech. I don't require the lighting on the keyboard myself being I thouch type. I had a difficult time finding a keyboard that had comfortable keys...fussy! My ex loved the Logitech Illuminated for it's lighting. You can also adjust the brightness which helps.

It served me well for over a year or so until I bought my Topre. At this point, there is no other keyboard for me.

New stuff coming down the line. But probably not until early 2012.

If you can find an illuminated mechanical keyboard then that would be even better. I loved my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard but after switching to mechanical keys, I could not look back.

FYI, many of the logitech illuminated keyboards suffer from keyblocking of W+SHIFT+SPACE. that's a tough one to swallow for most FPS players (means you cannot run forward and jump at the same time). i bought one of these keyboards from Best Buy and had to return it...which was a shame because they are such nice keyboards.
