Keyboard becomes unresponsive

I forgot the actual model of my keyboard, but it's a wireless Logitech, basically. When I start my computer, I do load a bunch of applications. After a while, my keyboard becomes virtually unresponsive but my mouse still works fine. I found a quick fix, to remove one of the batteries from my keyboard and reinsert it. Then it works just fine. I'm guessing this COULD be a driver issue. Anyone have any thoughts? I do watch my performance monitors. Memory is usually about 80-90%, CPU is
 
Lol I'm guessing your keyboard died mid sentence? There is an onscreen keyboard that you can use with your mouse if it dies (Accessories -> Accessibility -> On-screen keyboard).
