You guys are nuts, but congrats anyway :D

And to the people bitching about the price, shutup. You're just mad you can't afford one. Either put up, or shutup, but don't come here and preach to us about how terrible NewEgg is, especially since they have given many of us serious value over the years in our component purchases and are a good company to work with overall. Good on them for being able to make a little profit off a hot launch.

Before all you economics 101 supply/demand fanatics start flaming me, this is lame even for them.

[...]

The reason that newegg bothers me is that they set the market cost and should have a little bit of ethics for the consumer.

Sorry, but, I will flame you....

Newegg does not set the market price. The market sets the price.

And apparently they got it right.

And, actually, technically speaking, the only people who are in the demand curve and people willing and able to purchase a product. thus, you're not even in the market demand cure for kentsfield, and as such, they didn't even include you in their pricing decision, so, they wont feel your lose, lol.

heck i dont care i have money to burn ( for my self ), i have given newegg $6,136.25 this year on computer parts...
