I have a buddy in town that wants to upgrade his old rickety raidmax case. He said he'd give me like $250 for my V1010 and I was looking around and I really like the TJ09/TJ10. Do you think It would be a decent Idea to spend the $50-70 to upgrade to the TJ10?

The other question I had was is the TJ10 going to be easily watercooled?

one the tj-09 is an amazing case and two it is easily watercooled if you know or have had experience messing with cases and watercooling.

i was looking into getting the v1010. so before you upgrade could you tell me what you think of your current case.

as for the tj09 and tj10 are both pretty cases, but they seem to still be mostly mid tower cases. if you are planning to water cool you might want to go for a full tower case so you could have more room to keep all the components inside. it looks as though you might be able to mount a a dual 120 radiator above the mother board though. so i guess you could squeeze it all in with a little elbow grease but i am no expert when it comes to water cooling.

Looks like fan positioning on top has been done shoddily for mounting any (except single) radiator:

If you can do holes yourself (where you want them) slightly cheaper Lian Li A71 (A70 if you don't want door) doesn't have "shoddily prepositioned" fan holes on top:

Remove upper HDD cage and there's fair 40cm long 14cm wide space behind top I/O ports.

That top is very easilt modded to fit a dual 12cm radiator and to make it look stock check out my work log you will see that!

what dont you like about thev1010?

I'm still in progress with mine... lots of nice stuff, but it is a bit large for air...

Get what you like the looks of most. I love the V series with some modified "feet"... I really don't think anything beats them. But, they're smaller than the TJ 10's when you consider the sub-floor in the case. It depends on your priorities.
