I dont know if its a problem with IE8 just not liking Hardforum or what but I have had to sign back in several times in the last couple hours. I dont have this problem on any of the other forums or websites. :confused:
 
If you use CCleaner, it clears cookies, therefore it'll sign you out. My guess.
 
Im not using that. anyway it seems to have stopped today but I had to sign in about a dozen times last night to every forum. also some parts of hardforum dont work properly in IE8 but its just a beta so oh well.
 
If your browser is deleting cookies when you exit, it will lose your login info and will ask you for it again.

well it was doing it even though I wasnt exiting either. there were several times I tried to reply to a post or go to the cp and I would have to sign back in.

Sounds like you have disabled cookies.

I checked that last night and that wasnt it. its working fine today and I didnt change anything. if it screws up again I will just go back to IE7 until IE8 is out of beta.
 
Do you have save password enabled cause after several minutes if inactivity you'll be logged out.

yes. also I wasnt inactive on Hardforum when it was doing this. I was replying to posts and it would just log me out. anyway it seems fine for now.
 
You can see that fellow [H] members are concerned about others. We want to treat you like family. :)
