Kaspersky and Internet problem

I am using Kaspersky 8 on vista 64bit, and for some reason Kaspersky keeps shutting off the internet connection to my download manager. For example, if I am downloading using the manager (called Free Download Manager) and I start Firefox up, Kaspersky stops the download in the manager so I can use Firefox. I know its Kaspersky because if I shut it down, everything works (I can search on the web and the manager is still downloading). Has anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix this (I did update the software)?
 
I think I got it. For anyone with a similar problem, in Kaspersky go to setting->Threats and exclusions->Trusted Zone->Trusted Application tab and add FDM to it and check mark the boxes that state Do not scan..., Do not monitor..., and Do not scan network.....

Then restart FDM and your good to go.
