Fellas, I've seen simular posts, but this is killing me. I have a K8N Neo4 Platinum, that had a 4000+ and ran great, but I put on a 4800+ X2 and when it booted the desktop came up said it found new hardware
and needed to restart. When it restarted I got the "windows was shut down incorrectly" screen asking if I want to start in safe mode, safe mode with command prompt,... etc, or start windows normally, of
which I chose. It then rebooted came to the same screen, regardless of what I choose, it wont get past this screen. I can go into the bios, nothing there seems to help. I've tried reloading windows, and it
goes throught the motions but when it comes time for windows to start, it reboots, and I'm back to square one. I've tried a different power supply, memory and a harddrive, no joy. Any ideas?
