Just wanted to say that I think what yall are doing with the folding is a great thing. So I've decided to join [and thus have joined the forums ;)].

So add one beast of an 2.33GHz 8 core 1333 FSB workstation to team 33

Welcome, and I too would really like to know what you can crank out with that rig...

Welcome to the [H]orde, and very nice warstation you got there. Is it a custom build or brand name, BTW?

Thanks for the nice comments and welcome aboard!

Dual Quad.....yum. :D

It wont take too long to see you in my rearview

Welcome! and we are glad you picked the best team

Haha..it's custom built [way cheaper that way ;)]

I'll let you guys know how it does, after a few days when I can average it's performance over a few days during multitasking and it just slaving away overnight [one of the bonuses to a silent 8 core is you don't have to turn it off to sleep]

My Dual-Quads do around 3,000-3,500 PpD @2.66 Ghz.
So I'd knock that down to 2,600-3,000 PpD due to the slower speed.

Luck .............. :D

Nice addition and welcome to the [H]orde !! Dual quad core boxes can really crank out some work. :D
