Hello all, I just registered. I just thought I'd let you know that I had problems with the form using Mozilla Firefox 0.8. It wouldn't let me select the month or date out of the drop down box, and I couldn't type in the year after I clicked in the text box. I had to use IE to fill out the form. Not sure if this is a problem with the form or Mozilla, or if it's just my computer. Just thought I'd let you know.
 
Odd. While I am using IE right now (work laptop) I normally only use Firefox .8 and never have a problem. I didn't try to register with it, but in normal browsing no problems. Have you seen anything else now that you are in?
 
My old account got deleted so I had to re register, didn't have any problems,

I've had no further problems posting or checking the User CP with Firefox. I just logged out and hit the register link again and everything worked fine. I hit the proceed button and then cancelled at the TOS screen. It's likely my computer was just acting up at the time.
 
Not as bad as my problem, I use Proxomitron to disable annoying Flash ads and I get a download box opening up on each link I click in the Forums. Extremely annoying. Wonder why other sites with flash Ads that get filtered through Proxomitron don't do that?

I somehow don't see you getting much help in bypassing the ads which pay for this server that you are using.
 
Wasn't even aware this site still had ads... anyway, I don't get a download prompt or anything using Firefox.
 
I keep getting a download prompt for Shockwave using Firefox. I have downloaded two different versions of Shockwave, and they install to the plugin directory, but it still can't open Newegg ad. I got it to work in Mozilla 1.7?

The forums use ONE ad. That is not annoying. The forums are also redonkulously huge both in members and content, which is great.

Quit complaining that you can't disable the ad.

As to the guy who's plugin doesn't work in firefox currently, dunno, can't help you, sorry.
 
Yeah, you will have to take up your ad blocking software problems with someone that does not pay for the house mortgage and kids' food with those ads. Good luck with that. :rolleyes:
