I am just worried what to look for as far as a bad unit? Are there any techniques or tips I should do when I get mynew LCD to make sure I have no color / brightness / pixel issues?

Purchased from Dell today for $549.00 + free second day shipping!!! :D

I too have been thinking of purchasing these, and have noticed there is a less chance of problems if it's a Jan/Feb A01 or current, but now I have someone to support me so that makes me feel better in purchasing one.
