Hey i just received my opteron 165 from newegg and im wondering if the stepping "LCB9E" is any good. I'm also quite new to overclocking but I do plan on doing it sometime soon with this new processor i just purchased.
 
I hit a wall at 2.7, I've read other people having better luck though. It's all luck of the draw.
