yup, a new G0 stepping quad!!
I also got 4gb ram a few weeks ago, with vista x64, should be mega.
ill let you know how overclocking goes.
 
Are you going to use the Striker???? Or some other MB????

I have the P5N32-E SLI,Vista64, and 4 GB of Ram as well.......unfortunately even with water I can only get my G0 to 3.1 GHz. It runs nice and smooth and I'm glad I bought it, but I'm just a bit disappointed at the OC from my board. I had an e6600 to 3.45 without much work.

I'm almost tempted to get an EVGA A1 680i board, but the work to pull the ASUS board would be more than I'm willing to take on at present.

I have the A1 and over 3 ghz is a bitch for my G0 as well. It is odd since my last 680 had not issue going over 1333 fsb. I almost wish i had not swapped it for an A1 I spoke to EVGA a couple of weeks ago and they said it was a bios issue they were working on. I think I will check the site to see if they have released a new bios yet

Update : they are still on P30 ............... oh well maybe its back to ASUS for the x38 based board
 
i am not going to use an nvidia based board ever again. I have a p965 board and will probably go to x38, but they are so much more stable, cheaper, and better performing in my opinion. I can run at 3.6 for a while on my board with very little effort.
 
Unfortunately if you SLI you just dont have a lot of choices.

That being said, I'm tempted to get an X38 board after they have been out a while.

I wish nvidia would license SLI to Intel.:mad: The 680i has been OK, but it has taken almost a year to iron out all the bugs.
 
honestly I rather just spend the money on a top of the line video card then go SLI, but I know people like the growing option of SLI if you dont have the cash. That be said the 680 so far hasnt been that bad of a board. Granted its not the stable king that tend to go to intel chips, it has though served its purpose.
 
im planing on using my striker, although i may get a asus blitz.
ill see how it goes first :)
