This thing better help me OC this Mobile.

My mobile has been crap from day one. I'm back at 2100mhz because at 2200mhz the thing idles at like 43c and is very unstable. I put it at 2600mhz and my computer took a complete shit on me. Hell, my ram can't even do 190Fsb at 11-2-2-2 timings.

It's corsair, so it pisses me off it sucks so much. Hopefully it's just my PSU.

I had it at 2.9. I used to have it at 208fsb with 11-4-4-2.5 timings but it was unstable, and it wont even do that now.

I'm using a generic power supply...

I dunno that could be why, because my CPU overclocks on both my 2500+ and this M-2400+ have been horrible. Not to mention, my cpu runs insanely hot. My 2500+ idled at 30C and my M-2400 idles at 40 with LESS voltage and slower speeds.

have you considered trying a different motherboard? people seem to be having good luck with the dfi infinity.

I dont know if overclocking past 2200 is really that big of a concern that I'd spend $140 on a new mobo...

the infinity is $95-ish. isn't a pc power&cooling a lot more than that? just a question. (not trying to piss you off, just wondering) or do you just like your epox a lot?

still, let us know what happens. i wanna see what a new psu will do too.

isn't it entirely possible that you just got a bad luck of the draw on hardware?
i'm not trying to sound like an ass either.
Somethings amiss in your system and it could just be an easy explanation like that. no offense.
