just ordered a dell 2209WA

i have a very old 18" dell ultrasharp lcd that (ungodly sharp) has been with me for probably 8 years now...thing is a champ but finally decided i needed something new and found a deal for the 2209WA for $209 from dell.

it was a 1 day sale and i only had about 2 hours from the time i saw the hot deal until it was dead...so i literally did a quick scan / search and saw the positive posts about it and ordered it.

the smaller size is OK with me as long as the panel performs better (e.g. eIPS vs TN)...and at least it is 16:10 res.

is there anything else i should know or what to expect with this monitor?

is anyone having particular issues with it?

looking forward to a long overdue upgrade.

oh, and OP, I love my triple 2209wa Eyefinity setup. They are great LCDs, even in portrait. Second to the NEC 20wmgx2 in picture quality though!
 
I stand corrected. Only links to twelve pages at a time in the main forum display.... I should have said multi-page thread. Point being a simple search for 2209wa would have netted the information the OP was looking for. I was trying to be polite...

Odd the 2209wa hasn't been on sale for that price since early fall last year. Also, love the 2209wa, had mine since may 09, until last week the lcd matrix crapped out.....
