Whoa this is some cool shite! Haven't tested much so far, but 3dmark06 score went from 4761 to 7448. Not too shabby for 300bucks. Install was smooth as could be, just uninstalled catalyst drivers, installed 2nd card, and reinstalled catalyst 7.1

:)

Off to test some real games!

Very nice setup there, now just overclock that CPU a bit and it will really shine.:)

Sweet setup! Now if I was 10 years younger and had the energy, I would do a case like that too :D

Ran a few more canned benchmarks...

COH, default settings, 1680x1050 - Crossfire OFF avg 55.2 high 100 low 19.3
COH, default settings, 1680x1050 - Crossfire ON avg 49.4 high 96.0 low 18.7
COH, settings I play at - everything highest, but shadows on low Crossfire ON 53.3/100/21.0

So it seems COH is a bit crippled with crossfire, although it does get better with higher settings. I think this is a known problem with COH.

DOOM 3 I get no benefits at all with the canned demo 75.3 crossfire off, 75.6 on. 1680x1050 settings maxed.

DOW, Dark Crusade, all settings maxed 1680x1050 Fraps reports 35-45 with AA 4x, 8x AF. With crossfire ON I max the vsync (60fps) AA 8x, 8x AF with "high quality", AND adaptive AA turned on "performance" setting. Basically I get much improved image quality with a boost of frame rate. Game feels smoother too - no more slight pauses when scrolling to new areas of the map.

Few more pics:

Wow, as much as I hate computers with lights in them, yours is actually pretty badass.:)

No need for a flash light to work on anything inside...

Yes, that is actually really cool - unfortunately only true when the comp is ON - which is not often if you are installing new parts etc.

;)
