I have the Logitech Z 640's hooked up right now. I do not get sound from my rear speakers...

This could be the problem... I don't have the same colors on my soundstorm than what i have on the three speaker wires coming from the speakers...

What do I do?

Look in your manual (download if you don't have it) for your soundcard. Figure out which plugs are for the front/center/rear. Do the same for the manual for the speakers. Plug the appropriate front/center/rear to the equivalent connections.

That has to be the single nicest way I have ever seen someone say RTFM. :)
FWIW the colors do not match because those are multi purpose jacks, in 2 speaker mode they function as the line in and mic in jacks.
In 5.1 mode they function as the center/sub output and the rear outputs.

OK, I have been playing with my speakers for some time now. I'm pretty sure that the green plug plugs into the green receptor... :p (it's the one with center, front and sub) But I have a black and an orange plug left... And I switched them around while playing Halo and they didn't work!

Any help?

BTW: Didn't find much info on soundstorm or speakers...

Well, I think I need to get it out of 2 speaker mode! how do I get it in 5.1 mode???

control panel, sound options. its in there, chagne speaker settings

the black plug is for center/sub and the orange is for surrounds. green is for stereo speakers. as for changing the output from stereo to 5.1 have you looked in the soundstorm control panel thing in the task bar?

Soundstorm? Unless I am mistaken that is onboard sound but the mobo listed in your sig has a Realtek ALC650E for sound.

Assuming that here is the diagram from the manual for that mobo (from Shuttle site).
6-front
7-rear
8-center
