Hi everyone,

Just checking in as I apparently hit this little milestone a few days ago. Since I got my new system with two gtx 260s up I've really ramped up production. Once I get my box with the 8800gs in it back online, I'll be doing 18k-20k ppd! At that rate I'll hit 1 million by Christmas, a nice gift for the [H]orde :D I don't really post here often, so thanks to those who have helped me when I have asked, and thanks to everyone for folding. Fold on!

Folding and WCGing for the CURE

 
Thanks everyone! You've all motivated me to get that other box folding sooner rather than later :D To be honest, my cards have done more folding than gaming since I've gotten them and I just realized I'm still on driver 178.15! I'm going to upgrade to 180.48 now, which apparently supports multiple monitors with sli enabled. Does this mean folding is supported on both gpus with sli on, or will I still have to disable sli to get my full folding potential? Thanks again everyone!

While I don't have the answer to you question I wanted to say, make sure your GPU client is updated also, I just found the wife's machine was running the 6.20 client. Upgraded her to the 6.20r1 client. I think that may be why I didn't seem to be getting credit for her WU's.

samborarocks, thanks for the heads up, but both clients are 6.20r1 so everything is fine there. I'm pulling 14-15k ppd now that things have settled down and my machine's overclocks are all settled. I was hoping for 4ghz on my q6600, but I've managed to be prime and intelburntest stable at 3.825ghz@1.45v, so I'm going to stop while I'm ahead. The gpus are chugging along at a healthy 740/1480/1300 core/shaders/memory.

Well, those 260's explain the mowing you gave me a few weeks back - I thought my second 96GSO would help, and it did for a while, but then wham! Oh, well, Congrats anyway!

Now I can officially join the [H]Mowed|Over Club, right? :) If not today, Mainomega's 11,000ppd is set to mow me tomorrow... Then all the red threats are off my board long enough to get me to Black Friday deals. :rolleyes:

Very nice! I only have my 9800gtx+ folding :rolleyes: better then nothing i guess.. i would throw in my old 8800gts but i need a new case and power supply first :mad:

 
Ha, thanks everyone! Didn't think this thread would amount to much :D Sorry for the mowing, but it at least looks like I won't get my 8800gs online till next week :( I've been folding since '05, but all the progress I made was blown away in a matter of weeks with this gpu folding. Since middle of September when i got the 8800gs online originally, I've more than doubled my lifetime total. This gpu client sure has changed the face of folding!
