hey, i just got my sp-97 today fromexcaliberpc , it looks really cool and ill put it on my rig later tonight, but i cant help but notice that this hs is really dirty... theres some black stuff (no idea what it is ) thats making random spots, and its even stuck on the bottom of the heat pipes and some fins! i want to clean this off, would there be any problems using soap and water (or would that make the copper turn green?) or should i use rubbing alcohol ? also, how the hell am i supposed to fit my 92mm tornado on this thing... do i have to strech the fan clips that far?

id just rub it down with some good old isopropyl. its probebly fine to scrub it with soap and water as long as its rinsed and dried very well.

this happened to a lot of the sp-94's. Its the heatpipe liquid that leaked out during shipping and dried on the heatsink. Is it a dark, dark green, almost black? If that is the case, then it is probably the liquid.
