Noticed the powersupply spec are not the same as the ones on the website...

3.3v @ 26A, 5v @ 28A and 12v @ 30A :confused: Website says it should be 3.3v @ 20A, 5v @ 25A and 12v @ 20A
 
join the sff club, and that is because you have a new psu I believe...or an old one

um why ask? you got a psu with better specs than the one listed. :D
 
still might be a good idea to replace the PSU though, if you are building a higher end system. just keep the stock psu as a backup :) i like backup pc parts lol
about the bag, the qpack is bigger than the shuttle so I dont know if it will fit
see if you can find the inner dimensions of the bag and compare with dimensions of qpack
 
I got the new powersupply too, it is garbage, I get random shutdowns and restarts from it all the time, I think I've narrowed the problem to the plug in the back, the power cord does not fit very securely in the socket, it's looser than I've seen in any other powersupply. What happens is, sometimes if the cord moves even just a bit, it will restart the computer. The voltage readings from Speedfan also aren't very promising.

software voltage readings are garbage. software would read my antec 350 at 11.6 but a multimeter said 12.05
 
Your probably better off getting a different PSU, but the stock one should be fine for normal use (non-overclocking).
 
Multimeter on the "new" X-QPACK PSU shows the +12v rails drops to +10.2v under load.

System in sig.

Granted, I have to REALLY load it. Dual Prime95s running on each CPU isn't a problem. And the video card running rthdribl in a very large window DOES make the +12v rail drop to +11.2v to +11.4v - which is interesting. Who would have thought a Radeon X800XL draws more juice than a dual-core Athlon64 at nearly 2.6ghz?

All of that together, though - dual Prime95s and rthdribl running - makes the +12v rail TANK, plus a vague smell of ozone come out of the PSU.

So, needless to say, I'm not using it anymore. It's junk, and unless you plan on running only mid-level components (at STOCK clocks), don't use it.
 
My new psu should be here in the second or third week of september... Just in time for next LAN event on the 25th. :)
 
the qpack PSU I got was actually pretty nice..it worked well but I don't trust it so I am going with a Seasonic...as a side note, pay someone to sleeve your power supply, it is a pain otherwise.

oh, and the handle on the qpack....highly underated. I have carried around my qpack with it a lot and nothing has broken. although I don't suggest jumping or anything because the shaking is what could do damage

the 600watt x-finity is not going to fit in the qpack by the way
 
i just got mine. I have a 2400m doing 2200 with the stock psu. Its been running for 4 days and all the rails are showing fine. Im going to just use it since i dont have a smaller cdrom.

Its just a box for my folding farm and looks like it should work great for me.

I can only get the parts from outpost. Onless someone knows of other online store that ships internationally.
