Just got my EVGA PowerLink Adapters

wonder why there is no 6+6 configuration.
I'd like to have that on my GTX980
 
Looks cleaner, but allowing to plug the cables into the back, somehow (adapters from standart pcie plugs to proprietary, higher gauge cable ones), would make it even cleaner and less cluttered. Now the mess of wires is just moved from the front to the side a little, instead of being far in the back, near the motherboard, where routing them out of sight would have been easy.
 
Totally agree - why not out the back? It's not like there isn't any clearance!
 
Meh looks kind of toyish with all that plastic. I prefer the look without em. I also have 2x120mm fans blowing air at the cards so this would restrict the amount of air hitting the cards.
 
Thanks! The only pictures were way too dark, now we can really see them.

Mostly agree with the others, a good first try but too chunky and routing them up, down, or backwards would all be better than straight out the side.
 
can't wait for the kraken X52 to arrive :)

Got the Aer RGB fan though...looks slick!
