Just got ipod touch, cant connect to password protected network!

So my brother got an ipod touch 2g for christmas today, but it wont connect to our password protected wifi network, if i make the network open itll connect, but it wont connect to the password encrypted network, my brothers friend connects just fine to our password protected network, He has a 8gig and my brother has a 16gig, It wont connect to WPA(which is the one we use) or WEP, does anyone know why his 16gig wont connect, but his friends 8gig will connect no problems?

nvm, it connected to it by itself after a while, idk why it wouldnt, but its fine now, so mods can close this thread if they want
