Hey guys, I just got set up with a watercooling setup and it is flippipng awesome... The case is a Lian-Li but I forget what model it was. I am set up wth a Koolance cooling system and it keeps everything around 27-30 celcius... However, I would like to start doing some overclocking. I haven't really ventured into the realm of overclocking too much, so could I get a few tips on where to begin? I know how to get into BIOS and all that but I don't understand the voltage stuff... Thanks for helping if you can my system info is in my profile.

Sweet system, hopefully by the time I buy another Koolance system they will have a 3/8 GPU cooler so I can run a pure 3/8 system.

Or you can do what I did, mate the exos 2 with AC blocks, that's all 3/8 :)

Please tell me the temp diode isn't between the pressure bracket and the top of the water block on the CPU...

Well I hope not, but it seems common practice to run the probe wire through that bracket to act as a slight strain relief. The sensor goes underneath the CPU block, but is held in by just a little tiny piece of copper tape and it is easy to pull out.

a guy from koolance actually set it all up for me... they sponsor my counter strike source team www.axxium.org and we got free cases and what not for CPL to help them market... i have never water cooled before so I am just trying to be safe whatever I do but now that I got this hella nice setup, i wanna work it some...

well first of all before overclocking you need to clean up the wire mess ... post side pictures in this thread, ofcourse with the panel off .. Post your "rate my cables here"

After that is all done, you will be able to show off your system and overclocking won't matter as much. If you want to overclock you need to start a thread in the AMD section, not here.

or he could start a thread in the overclocking&cooling section, of which this is a subforum.

I sat by you guys at the last PDXLAN!
Someone stuck an anti-smoking sticker on my case after announcing that "axxium thinks you have a kickass case" :(
Crazy bastards ;)
