Just got an Audigy 2

Any driver version I should particulary install? Newest are ok? I'mma do a search on teh creative site for them in a bit...

Would the ZS have made much of a difference? Looking at it now, its out of my budget anyways.
 
here's what you do:

custom install

select the mixer application and speaker configuration. that's it. that will keep the bloat out of your system.

as far as driver version, do auto-update through creativelabs.com. it's like Windows update, so you'll have to go back a few times to make sure you're running the latest and greatest.
 
Another quick question- Is there a slot I should put it in prefereably? I'm only using the AGP slot as of right now.

Usually the last/farthest PCI slot, so that it's furthest away from possible interference.
