Got it 8 hours ago.
Every other games runs fine with no artifacts whatsoever,
when I started COD4.... oh man...





It's just some missions that has it too.. aiming down the iron sight and proning gives me that stuff -_-;;

Is it due to the heat? Bad card?
Rivatuner shows 55c idle, and 69-79c on load.

Also, stock core/mem/shader. XFX branded. Rest of specs in sig
 
Its a driver issue. i remember I had that problem. Are you using the 169.21 whql driver. Make sure you set your settings to application controlled and not forcing it in the control panel. That should resolve it.
 
What settings had you set to cause that in the control panel?

Also, I don't see what's wrong with the first or third pictures.
 
Forced AA in control panel caused it.
1st & 3rd picture show how everything's fine, till I aim down the ironsight/scope.
