Just got 4850, few questions.

i think the speeds of the card are wrong...i ran gpu-z and in the ccc its saying that my gpu speed is 625 and memery speed is 993 are those the right speeds? thanks.

it speeds up under 3d app's , desktop it runs slower to keep cool

Those are the correct speeds. You'll sometimes see the memory advertised as 1986MHz due to it being DDR--3 (double data rate) but the actual clockspeed is 993 MHz.

wrong with the bios update idle is 160/500 and load is 625/993

The only card that officially uses those idle clocks is MSI's 4850 card, though you can flash any reference 4850 card with MSI's modified BIOS. The reference idle clocks for the 4850 are 500/750, howeever.
