this screen is awesome................but i am using a 128mb ddr GeForce 5200 (Nvidia) video card.
of course i had to make a custom resolution to get the screen to 1920x1200, but it looks streteched and if i move the mouse from one edge of the screen to the other, the screen scrolls, which means that the icons that are to the left side of the screen are hidden until i move the mouse back to the left side of the screen to get it to scroll back..............what am i doing wrong?
 
Probably not what you want to hear but I have the same card and have been having serious problems running it with a 2005FPW, in 16x9 over DVI. The card works fine with the VGA connection and will display the 16x9 image at its native resolution but over DVI I am having similar issues to you. I am assuming that the 2405 has a VGA input so you may want to try that for now though it is certainly not a real solution.

Would be good to know if there is a permanent solution for this issue out there

I would never get a 9800PRO for more than a $100 now a days!

Get a Nvidia 6600GT or 7600GT.
 
got the ATI Radeon X1300 pro card and all is working perfectly..............tried for the other 2 cards, but none available locally. only thing i miss in the software is the lack of sharpness adjustment, or is it there?

anyway, this is one badass screen.......my work is photography and i process a lot of images at 72MB's in size for print............looks to be a whole new love affair.
