I got bored the other day so I figured I would mess around with the BIOS. I haven't really tried overclocking the AXP yet but it seems I can't. I'm sure the chip is locked but I was somehow able to lower the multiplier. It would POST like that but would shut off. Changing the FSB in the BIOS does nothing and raising the multiplier does nothing as well. I assume that might be a matter of unlocking the chip. Also, is there any reason I can't turn on the spread spectrum option for the FSB or AGP? I have the original BIOS, maybe that could be but I don't know if that's a common problem since I can't search for it. These are probably basic things but I've been out of the loop for a bit (still have my 300a@450 box I need to get rid of). Last time I did an overclock was figuring out jumpers on my old K6 board
Thanks everyone!
