just downloaded the No Nonsense Console Version

Here are instructions from www.hardfolding.com that should get you on your way. If you have set the console to run as a service, you'll need to stop that, follow the setup for the -configonly option, and then on completion of the configuration, restart the service.

It is only using idle CPU time. Start up your favorite game, and notice that you get the same FPS as before. When another application requests CPU time, F@H gives it up, as it is assigned a lower priority. Your rig is fine.

In that config setup there was an option to setup the program as a service. You need to hit YES to that, do a reboot and you'll see fah50X-console.exe and FahCore_XX.exe in your services menu (alt+ctrl+del > Processes)
