I think I finally have this thing under my complete control now and I was just wanting to
know if there was something I could do to it, without overclocking too much or buying much, if anything (i'm broke, and I don't wanna kill my new toys) to make it the best it possibly can be. Here are my complete specs...
DFI Lanparty UT nf3 250gb
AMD-64 3200+ s754 NewCastle @ 200x11.0
Kingston HyperX 1GB PC2700 running at DDR400 @ 2.5-3-3-10-1T
2 WD 80GB 8MB cache HD's
XFX Geforce 6800NU @ 325/750 (16x6vp enabled)
Zalman 7000B AlCu HSF w/ AS5
Aspire Chameleon PSU @ 550W
some fans, lights, etc...
CPU Temps
38C idle -- 48C load (folding@home for 1 hour)
GPU Temps
61C idle -- 67C load
Aquamark3 -- Preset 5 (Ultra High Quality)
CPU -- 9175
GFX -- 8151
total -- 56435
avg. 56.44fps
3dMark05 -- 3553
3dMark03 -- 9944 (that seems a bit low)
3dMark01 -- 20368
SuperPi
1M -- 42sec
8M -- 7min 34sec
Doom3 timedemo @ 1280x1024 High Quality AA off Vsync ON
46.5fps
So, from looking at those numbers what do you think I could do, keeping in mind that I'm broke and won't be buying anything new short of a new monitor (this 17" CRT is getting old). Thanks, guys.
