Just built PC no sound, help please.
Put together my PC today, working fine but no sound.

IC7 mobo

p4 2.8

Radeon 2800 pro

Audigy 2 sound card

I have checked and can't seem to find out why no sound, I disabled the onboard sound in BIOS after I discovered having no sound. PC says the audigy soundcard is working but no sound.

Any help or ideas?
 
Drivers installed? Volume turned up? Speakers connected into the correct jacks?
 
uninstall audigy stuff and take it out intsall onboard drivers try yer stuff in there, if that dun work its yer speakers, or yer mobo, then try yer audigy 2
 
In the words of sdk, pull out your audigy and see if the onboard sound works. If it does, then your problem lies in the audigy or some aspect of its installation.
 
Go into the bios and disable the onboard audio for your audio card to be recognized.
 
Did you use windows drivers or creatives?

Whatever you did, do the opposite or upgrade to the most recent.

Is the sound muted?

What are you using to test the sound?
