This is what I have: Abit NF7-S Ver 2.0, 2x256 Oem DDR400, Seagate 120gb 7200rpm, 2500+ Barton, Acheive 500W PSU, 6 Blue Led 80mm Fans, Gainward Ti4200 128mb 8x.
This is my Problem: I just install windows Xp home edition. When the computer is on for 5-30min. The Computer just restart itself for no reason?? What is up!!

Temps

so what are they.... what cooling you use.... what are your ram timings....

come on now, we need more info..

the temp on the cpu is 39 idle and 46-47C in use. I am using a AMD Stock cooling fan. I dont know wat is the ram timing. This is wat i know about the ram 2.5V and that is it

The Psu is the best genric brand. It is not like the order spark flamers!! LOL I found out my problem it was the Ram. It does not work in pair for some reason. When i take one of the ram out it does fine. But when they are in pair they F*** UP!! The DRR400 are A byte brand Oem 2.5v. So any advice wat should i do?? I want to have 512 or 1000 of ram!

Send back the RAM, and get a new chip, im guessing somewhere on the RAM is corrupt, a few chips I have sitting around here do that, so I took em out, and boom, everything works fine. Send it back if you just bought it.

One general rule with RAM is you get what you pay for. If you got a "really good deal" then chances are it's crap RAM.

try upping the ram voltages to 2.6 or 2.7 and they might work

edit and set timings at 3-4-4-8

My Timings are 7 3 3 2.5. Both of the ram work when they are single but when together the start to F*** Up wat setting are good to have???

on CAS timing i cant change it to 8 but only to 3.0 ( these are my choices 2.0, 2.5, 3.00) Pluz where can i change the voltage at in the bios. Pluz wat software to test out the ram.
