Jump Starting a PSU?

Short green to black with a paperclip. Some PSU's will require a load though.

Could you be a little more extensive. I have a 520W OCZ by the way. I see one green cable but multiple black ones.
-Thanks

All the blacks are grounds....pick whichever black you want. Should be good to go. If it doesn't power try connecting a drive or two in case it needs a minimum load to start.

When I plug it in and turn the power switch to the ON position and put my ear very close up to it..i hear a very low whining. yet when I try to jump start it..i get NOTHING

Well... powers getting INTO it, and even solid state electronics make some noise. But that's certainly not an indicator that anything on the DC side works. :(

Yea :(
The sad thing is that yesterday it worked fine and I ran it for like 5 hours until about 12 AM. Then next morning it does not start. WOW
