umm..you can play CS on a stick of RAM?

It seems to me that if you have a decent mobo, 256MB would be enough for CS...what are you current rig's specs?

Because the video card will be a HUGE bottleneck.
 
well, you mentioned CS was a slideshow...what computer was it that gave you that impression?

Asus A7N8X Deluxe
Nvidia Geforce 4 MX 440 SE

Absolutely for cs, but I do play side games but nothing primary besides cs.

if you're seeing a slideshow with that rig, you're gonna see a slideshow with your "new" rig and a geforce2.

not really, no. The video card in each of those two systems is soooo much the bottleneck it's not even funny.
