Hi all.

I am building a PC with a 6600, 2gig RAM, 7950gx2, 2 optical and 3 sata. I have selected the following PSU upon recommendations regarding it's "silent" operation and price vs. the Seasonics which are supposed to be pretty quiet too.

Will it be beefy enough for my rig ? Are the specs reasonable ?

Specifications:

+3.3v 28A
+5v 30A
-5v 0.3A
+12v 34A
-12v 0.8A
+5v 3.0A

* 140mm Blue LED Fan for maximum cooling at less than 18dBA
* Blue UV reactive sleeving on all cables
* Blue UV reactive connector plugs (except SATA)
* Titanium mirror finish
* True 500W output
* 4 x SATA, 6 x 4pin, 2 x PCI Express, 8pin EPS12V, and an adaptable 20/24pin ATX connector

What PSU? "JSP Bluefire 2"?? Never heard of it. Got a link?

Yeah... I googled that too. But it doesn't really tell us anything. :(

A few other places that came up were talking about how it's some sort of "PC Case Gear" exclusive. So I guess there's going to be no luck finding a review or at least an opened up unit.

That probably explains why I couldn't find it on their site. The others looked to be 350W units.

Well, if we can't find a review or anything, you shouldn't buy it. A 500W Seasonic s12 or 500W Enermax Liberty are both very quiet and can handle quad-sli for you. Corsair HX520W is another option.
