Haha, ya I know pethetic aint it. But i have a Logitec Wingman Model 3001. I got it pluged into the GamPort and I try and add it into the XP Game Controllors. Its added but the staus says "Not Connectet". My gameport is enabled and auto "I/O 0201". Everything seems ok but it says disconnected.

ANy Ideas...

ok has any had any luck with the game port on a ASUS A7N8X Dlx board???? am i doing anythnig wrong for it not to work....?
 
Unless im missing it in the manual and the mother, i cant see any :(

In the bios you can make it 206 or 209 or disabled.

ived tried both so far...still nothing...i just tried my joystick on another computer and it wokrs fine
 
Thats uhm... weird :confused:

Do you have a soundcard in there (I'm not talking about onboard). Does that have a joystick port? Try that and see what happens.
 
ROFL... I have found the culprit!!!



Tucking wires behind the motherboard isnt allways safe I just found out. Yup there it was. Luckly I had another one, so I replaced it and now it work buitiful. Thanks for all your help :)
