okay, forget everything past this, i should start a new thread, but new project idea coming.. revolves around the same mascot i was going to do on this old project

So far all i can think of is


All white case, nice glossy white outside....

since i got the DFI x38 TR2 mobo, which has organge, i want to cut out the design above, use an orange frosted plexy glass behind it, and surround it with light so it "glows" from the case, why i think white would look good...

inside of the case not sure yet... if white or another color....


i want to get the case anodized orange but it may be more headaches to try and find someone to do it then it is worth.

ahh k,


the "i am with dumbass" i meant it as in the computer will be in my hosue - so it would be like the t-shirts with an arrow


basically i was saying.


"i am with dumbass" - refering to me as the dumbass - since the computer will be beside me on my desk, sorry it wasnt worded better.
 
I read it the first time as MR Guvermment had intended, never saw it as a insult at somone...

Boris and natasha wasnt it from pink panther? or was it rocky and bullwinkle :)

project.... friend didnt bring his camera ARGH! so no pics yet, going to try for tomorrow.

i got the design fully drawn out on the case, and i have taken the case all apart.

but i am stuck, this is a rather large design and as you can see has many curves - i got out my dremel - got some reinforced wheels, but i know i can not cut this all out with just those

Does anyone have any thoughts as to what ends i could use on my dremel to be able to get the nice smooth curves? Something that cuts well, but is small enough to bend around??

Like I said previously,

Gecko From Hell

I mean it fit's it pefectly. Just a huge massive Gecko. All that crap about Geico, who would of thought?!? That's just my opinion on the name of this project.
 
I am taking it into consideration - i might try and do some type of Poll with a prize for the name, but i would have it on 2 forums and i guess one final vote on the final and have some prize for it :)


so far i got the head and one eye done - using cutting wheels found this site with a nice teqnique for cutting round area's and so far so good!!

MAYBE finally one of my friends will remeber their camera~!
 
Well, i am aiming for Feb / march for a new rig, possibly April, so i will be using this design for sure on the case, but i think i will buy a diff case, i dont think this case will have the space i want internally for the new rig.

since i never did my dell mod or the case before with the design i wanted, i sold the dell and the other system didnt work....


since it has been years since i did a mod, and i finally have some money soon, this thread is not revived so to say... but the design idea is!!!


yes, it is friday, i am drunkedededed and i need to mod!!! man, this new rig is going to RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(if frozencpu lets me so to say!)

your name may fit as i will likely be using the dfi x38 board which has orange slots :)
 
yes this is an old project, but the idea will be happening on a new case and such, once i get the parts ordered and stuff, which will prob take some time.
