What Power supplies in the 500 to 650 Watt Range are Better in your Jugdement. Helping a friend out and i want your opionion on a good psu in this range, Maybe a few so he can get an idea of his choices so he gets something that will last lol and he can find a price that he can live with.

Computer specs?

Preferences in finish? Modular? Noise? Length of cables? Efficiency?

If there was one perfect choice for everyone, the world might as well stop because there'd be no need for any other brands.

a lot of people think they need more than they do, if you're running like a single 7900GT with the standard other hardware this would be perfect

I will have to find out what he is running, he is upgrading his system and has limited funds for everything, he is a Young Kid that just started working so he wants to get a good one in a good price range. I do know he has a 6800 Ultra and he wants to add water cooling to it. I will find out more for you.

There are some real poor psu's out with not much on the inside of them and yes they are cheap but for a Reason. I will get all the specs from him later today when i see him online gaming Or maybe the one he has will be ok but with water cooling added I bet Not.
