I thought I would just keep you all on tabs with what's going on with me at the moment. I usually am quite talkative around here but for some, they might go wtf is it with him and etc...

I've got a cooperative job at Viable.net working as a CSR (Consumer Service Rep), within few months, I am expected to move up the company's ladder up to TSS (Tech Support Service) and within two or three years, if such conditions warrant, CTO.

I've just moved from Rochester, NY to Rockville, MD and man the apartment's killing me with the price of the rent. I guess things will get better at one point. At the apartment, a neighbor were kind enough to let me use his WiFi for the time being until I get the damn filter off the line I have at the apartment this Friday. So at the moment, only my laptop are connected to the internet, I am not doing any DC Project on it at the moment not until I get things settled in because I don't want to use it and suffer from the massive heat it gives... (Desktop P4 Chip in it)...

So there you go... Now stop whining, I'm posting this from work. At least I've it easy at work at times.

Jon got a job? WOOT!

congratulations!

Are you sure it is Kosher to put your work name in your post? I know some people who might cause some mischief.

Congrats on the job. Fold when ya can get them back up. I've moved a few times and it is hard.

Happy upcoming passover?

alright... 90 minutes have passed... no one has tossed any shit Jon's way.

I sense a disturbance in the force.

Congrats on the job, way to go.
btw Im a couple of days behind Rebel :)
Another folder in WNY, or you previously lived here before moving to MD
My farm is just north of Buffalo about 20 miles.
Maybe 60 miles from Rochester.

Does seem a bit odd. Unless we're in for a coordinated attack once a key word is uttered...

Anyway, congrats on the job Jon.

No need. He didn't brag about borging his entire company in two weeks so he appears to be learning.

Another congrats for the job Jon855! You should have come to NC. It's cheaper.

Congratulations on the job! They're lucky to get you.

The job does come with benefits, right? I'm talking medical, 401K, and most importantly,
unlimited borgs...:D

Fold on!

Good job on the..... um, job:)

Having just made a major career change myself, I share your excitement! And I do hope you got a decent benefits package.... I did, and it's worth damn near more than my salary:p

Yeah, tell me about it, my rental is at 1,198 / mo... Well I'll let that sum up the whole thing at the moment... Oh yeah for only 750 Sq.Ft (Free Elec/Gas)... Enough rambling, I must work long hours and etc... My farm budget are on the tracks right now and there's a big and old train coming right at me at speed excess of 9000 in/sec...

Free electric?!

You need to cram every boxen you can into that thing!!!

Congratulations for the new job, hope you are happy :)

It's really expensive for a small apartment... I will be paying a bit less than 700$/Month for a brand new condo that I will be moving in 2 months. It have over 1100 sq.ft with room for a small farm ;)

Um, let's see Jon855 -
I assume your [FFF] $10K - 100K PPD has not occurred. Yet you have free electricity.
Would you have room for a

You should be able to put together a 6 layer stack for less than $2K.

I guess I could but, I'm tight on money at the moment. Later down the road when things gets better, I'll look into farming but not at this time.

Oh yeah, since I've finally got my intarwebs set up, before that I was borrowing wifi from a neighbor - with permission of course on a laptop which for the love of god, I couldn't get it to share its connection.

Now I have this

I'm back with dual SMP folding... I should be seeing some increase in the PPD area, nothing much else are expected at this time.

Too bad on the Comcast thing. Watch them carefully. I don't know from experience but I have friends who complained of their "fees."
