hey if i want a job at ati,nvidia,intel,amd etc. (one of those hardware companies ... hd,cpu etc. etc.) as a R&D (research and development) on their parts what kind of degree would i need... obviousyl i'm sure i would need a computer engineering but would i need to go to grad school for it then?

If you want to know what skills and degrees you'd need for those specific jobs at those specific companies, go to their websites, and look under careers/jobs, etc. If nothing is listed, they probably don't have anything open at the moment, but then you could call them directly and ask.
