JMicro 363 SATA controller drive issue

Hi Everyone,

I've hit a snag trying to get my file server up and running. I purchased an add-on PCI-E SATA card based on a JMicro 363 chipset because the solaris website along with some other articles stated it was compatible with the regular AHCI driver found in OSol and OI. I've got the mobo configured to use AHCI and I know the drives on the card are detected (they can be seen in an ubuntu live CD and also in ZFS Guru). When I boot OI to try and install it however, it just says unknown driver for the card.

I'm pretty much stuck at this point as the two drives I want to run in a mirror for the OS are the ones attached to that card. Any help would be appreciated (other than saying buy an LSI card). Thanks.


Update:
Supposedly this chipset works out of the box with OpenSolaris, so I tried booting up the latest version I could get my hands on but it still said driver missing/unavailable. Is there a way I can try and force it to use the AHCI driver through the command line or something? Thanks.
